Looking for a way to unwind this Friday night? Head to the historic Alley Cat Lounge, located upstairs from the famous Five O’Clock Steakhouse supper club in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. The Alley Cat lounge has been around since the 1940’s when it was under a different name and was a club for the swanky and elite to gather. For those who didn’t want to be seen entering the club, a hidden buzzer in the alley way entrance let staff inside know that someone needed discreet access to the club.
Today, the lounge has returned to its roots, offering live music on most Friday and Saturday nights. There’s no need to push the buzzer, but it does remain as part of the historical significance of the lounge. This Friday, the band Men with Music will be starting in the lounge at 8 p.m. There is no cover charge for this fantastic evening, just good music and drinks as you unwind from your week.
