Each month at Five O’Clock Steakhouse, where I , Stelio Kalkounos, am managing partner, we donate a portion of sales to nonprofits helping our fellow Milwaukeeans.
In 2023 we raised more than $40,000 in cash and in-kind donations for more than a dozen organizations working in all areas of need, including hunger, homelessness, domestic violence, recovery and more.
In April we support three organizations aiding those working hard on the road to recovery: Denoon Recovery Center, Milwaukee East Side Alano Club and The Phoenix – Milwaukee. These organizations are important to me for many reasons. I’ve been living a sober lifestyle for over 13 years, and this journey has made an incredible difference in my life. I’m honored to support local organizations that are making a difference in people’s lives & creating opportunities for hope & serenity.
