For a number of years now, Five O’Clock Steakhouse, where I am managing partner, has worked hard to be a good citizen by lending a hand to Milwaukee nonprofits helping neighbors in need.
I am proud to say that in 2023 we raised more than $40,000 in cash and in-kind donations for more than a dozen organizations working in all areas of need, including hunger, homelessness, domestic violence, recovery and more.
These funds have been raised through events like our annual Vintage Car Show, which takes place the first Sunday in June each year, as well as via our program which donates a percentage of sales each month, and other donations.
Among the organizations we are honored to have supported – and continue to support in 2024 – are Broadscope, Milwaukee Center for Independence, Our Next Generation, Capuchin Community Services, SALS, Denoon Recovery, Eastside Alano Club, Milwaukee Rescue Mission’s Joy House and Safe Harbor programs, Sojourner, Milwaukee Homeless Veterans Initiative, Dryhootch Milwaukee, Milwaukee County Historical Society, first responders, MADACC, Wisconsin Humane Society, Hunger Task Force and Street Angels MKE.
