Five O’Clock Steakhouse is a Milwaukee restaurant that has earned the title “the best steakhouses in the U.S.” by Travel and Leisure. The Five O’Clock has some hidden jewels though. The Alley Cat Lounge can be found on the second floor of the steakhouse, and offers some old timey classic drinks like a martini, stingers, or a sloe gin fizz. The Alley Cat has a 50’s setting like the dining area of the Five’ O’Clock Steakhouse, complete with red velvet curtains and dazzling chandeliers.

The space was renovated in 2013, and some history was found in the renovation. A buzzer was discovered alongside an unmarked door, where guest who didn’t want to be seen entering could sneak in back in the old days of the lounge.

The Alley Cat Lounge encourages those who finish dining in the restaurant area to come and join the festivities in the lounge. Tap your foot to the beat of the band on Friday nights with the live music while you sip your perfectly mixed cocktail. Enjoy a fabulous meal at Five O’ Clock Steakhouse and continue the good time upstairs in the Alley Cat Lounge.
