The passing of singer and musician Prince was a shocking and tragic even felt by many who grew up listening to the singer. The Five O’Clock Steakhouse and managing partner Stelio Kalkounos have an extensive musical background. The steakhouse is home to the historic Alley Cat Lounge which has been renovated an reopened for business. The lounge now has room and the facilities to host live music, which is held every Friday and Saturday evenings. Stelio states that there is no cover charge, just a chance to listen to some great music on the weekends.

Coming up in the Alley Cat Lounge is singer Pierre “Honeyboy” Lee. Pierre will treat the guests to organ jazz, blues, funk, and an amazing solo piano tribute to Prince on May 14th. The show begins upstairs in the lounge at 8 p.m. Guests can make dinner reservations before the show downstairs in the main dining area. The Five O’Clock Steakhouse is known for its steaks, and has grown to be a favorite stop for locals, visitors, and the occasional band and celebrity.
